LAS VEGAS, NV (November 25, 2024) – NISA Nation is pleased to announce Worldwide Problems FC's Mark Neal as its West Regional Final Man of the Match.
Neal, a 6-foot-3 centerback and defender, helped lead Worldwide Problems FC to its first NISA Nation West Regional Finals Championship with a 2-1 win over Las Vegas Legends on Sunday, Nov. 24 at Canyon Springs High School in Las Vegas.
“Mark has been a solid defensive presence for Problems FC for a couple of years, and he really showed his quality in NISA Nation this season," NISA Nation Director Matt Morse said. "When the team went down 1-0 early and then down to 10 mean, it was his heady play in the back that kept Problems composed and connected, and he started the counter attack that led to the game-winning goal."
Neal, 26, is a native of Long Beach, CA, and is the older brother of Jalen Neal (L.A. Galaxy).
Worldwide Problems FC (9-0-2 overall) advances to play NY Greek Americans SC in the NISA Nation Championship Final at Hofstra University on Long Island on Saturday, Dec. 7.
