Week 6 Recap: Flores Scores Twice To Keep Problems FC In Lead

WESTMINSTER, CA (October 14, 2024) - The Southwest Premier League's reigning MVP is making an impact at the next level. 

Angel Flores, the SWPL's MVP for the 2023-'24 season, scored twice before halftime to lead Worldwide Problems FC to a 5-3 victory over FCGS Force in a NISA Nation Coast Region match at Westminster High School on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Cody Jacobs added a goal and was later sent off for Worldwide Problems FC (4-0-1 overall), which remains three points clear of Temecula FC in the Coast Region.

On Saturday, Alberto Renteria scored again for Temecula FC in a 1-0 victory over STG Premier Pro at Patricia H. Birdsall Park in Temecula, CA, and Las Vegas Legends FC edged Soccer Academy Nevada 5-4 at Cimarron Memorial High School in Las Vegas, NV.

On Sunday, Club Tepa earned a 3-2 victory over Elk Grove Blues at Sheldon High School in Sacramento, CA, STG Premier Pro grabbed a 10-4 victory over Olympiacos CA at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, CA, and Albert Munante had two goals as Silicon Valley Rush beat Modesto City FC 7-0 at Yerba Buena High School in San Jose, CA.
