LA MIRADA, CA (June 5, 2024) - Gaffer City FC forward Keefer Calkins has been selected NISA Nation Player of the Week for May 27-June 2.

Calkins recorded the first three-goal performance in the NISA Nation Western N.Y. Region after scoring in the 12th, 33rd and 45th minutes as Gaffer City FC earned a 5-4 victory over Sahara Gunners FC at Corning Community College in Corning, NY on Saturday, June 1.

A native of Corning, N.Y., Calkins is a graduate of Haverling High School in Bath, N.Y., and is a Bloomsburg (Penn.) University alum. He previously played for Bath Blast SC and Soaring Capitol SC.

Presented by Xara, the NISA Nation Player of the week is selected from nominations from league members.
