Modesto, CA (March 3, 2023) – NISA Nation announces Modesto City FC will participate in the Pacific Region for the 2023 Spring Season.

Formed in 2019 in Liga NorCal (USASA), the club is a current member of the Southwest Premier League and has twice participated in the qualifying rounds for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

“It’s a dream to have MCFC competing in NISA Nation at this level. It is really a dream come true,” Modesto City FC Owner Christian Copland said. “Last year we were approved to play in the NISA Independent Cup and now this year we’ll be in NISA Nation. We are thankful for the opportunities to help grow MCFC and bring a higher level to Modesto, California.”

Modesto City FC played in the 2022 NISA Independent Cup and intends to continue operating a reserve team in the Pacific Premier League (SWPL). The club also features a boys youth academy.
